"ACCOUNTABILITY + RESPONSIBILITY = PRODUCTIVITY"

For our first posting, we'll give you a smattering of recent findings:

"ACCOUNTABILITY + RESPONSIBILITY = PRODUCTIVITY"

"If you don't know where you are going, you will end up somewhere else."

"Teamwork: A shared purpose combined with a positive mental attitude constitutes an unstoppable force."

"Remember--you set the rules in your class. If your class is a no gum zone..let the students know."

"Our character is what we do when no one is looking!"

And our Gold Medal winning WMRET of the Day:

" Thought for today: Some see the glass as 1/2 empty, others see the glass as 1/2 full, I see the glass as too big."

Now there is a hard worker!

Email Tags

People will do anything to stand out, anything to pass along a little wisdom. We have all received that email - you know, the one with that cute little one-liner at the end. And we're not talking about the one from your lawyer that says, "This electronic mail transmission is intended only for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed ..."

World's Most Ridiculous Email Tags (WMRETs) was created to reveal the ridiculousness (we may have just created a new word) of these phrases. We have found, traditionally, that the proof is not always in the pudding (now that could qualify for a WMRET!) - the people who use these can talk a great game, but they rarely back it up with any action.

These folks are similar to those - now that we think of it, they may actually be the same people - who walk around the office with two hands huddled around a coffee mug telling everyone how busy they are.

Here are our solutions:

Coffee Drinker: Go back to your desk, put down your coffee and get to work. You will find if you actually do some work, you won't be as busy in the long run.

Email Tagger: Write your email, sign your name and hit send - that is all. Leave the inspirations to church, to Successories posters in a SkyMall magazine or to Stuart Smalley (who is now the junior Senator of Minnesota).

So beware Email Tagger, you should think twice before hitting send. You never know if your witty phrase will end up on World's Most Ridiculous Email Tags!
